Had some fun and some decent angling with my buddy Max at the Barrett closer today. Max got a couple nice four pounders before I even got warmed up. Not much topwater action for us today though. I had a steady pick on the mutilator mutilator and the new Yamamoto Slinko that I Carolina rigged. We got both quality fish and dinks. Saw a nice deer

and her two fawns. Always a good time at the Big B.

Great to see that you and Max had another fun time out at Barrett before the gates will soon close.
Having fun catching lots of bass at Barrett pretty much seems to be the consensus of so many who fish there.
Ah, the MM always seem to do the trick with bass everywhere and I have never tried the Yamaoto Slinko,
but it looks like a good one. Thank you for sharing and Congratulations as I am pretty sure you outfished
Mr Chatterbaits this year. Tight lines always buddy.

Thanks for the report! Nice fish. Are you talking the margarita mutilator? How did you have it rigged? Drop shot, or with a slider? I'm going tomorrow with my son, so looking for any last minute tips to enjoy the last day out there till next May!

Yes, the margarita mutilator on the drop shot. Morning dawn color also worked for Max. Good luck!
