Anybody got their CCW recently since all of the changes for “eligibility “?

Don't have mine yet but have a friend who does. It is actually possible in CA! Should not be necessary since the constitution say that the right to keep and BARE arms shall not be infringed. It does not say the right to keep a firearm in a locked safe shall not be infringed!

It’s actually easier than you would expect. You no longer have to have a reason. Just an NA will suffice since it’s “shall issue” and no longer “may issue”.

Apply and find out. It's not that hard anymore unlike a yearish ago.

My buddy is currently in a 1 year waiting period

Already got it, just wanted to touch base with other folks who now have made the choice to carry and discuss the lifestyle and mindset changes that come along with the responsibility and potential consequences.

educate yourself with the laws inside and out. then do it over again. if in your mind there are questions dont carry. there is actually alot of responsibility when carrying, not just a false sense of security. remember your gun is not an ornament, it is deadly force meant to stop/ kill a threat.

It’s a whole different mindset once you decide to carry. Concealed means concealed. Trying not to print is another thing I worry about.
