Premier 5/7

Post by Redjim »

We shoved off the dock on time with a load of bait and Brandon putting on a head of steam towards the west southwest. We did most of our drifts in 4-600 ft with a pound of lead due to lack of current. My largest was probably 3 pounds with a few coming up a bit bigger. I saw a few folks that came unprepared to fish 100 fathoms and the pier gear will just not cut it, they had to rent a rod. Most of my catches were on my cutdown Truline D8 with penn fathom 25 2 speed (black and gold) 530 yards of 65 pound braid and 20 ft topshot of 40 pound izorline XXX to double dropper loop and 16oz torpedo. Tight lines and following seas!
