Murray 9/6

The topwater bite went off for a couple of hours today at Murray. Pulled in 8, all of them looked about the same. Nothing huge but still a ton of fun.

On a side note, I threw numerous topwater baits; poppers, walking baits, and even a fluke, and the only thing I could get them to hit was a small Lucky Craft Gunfish. Bass are weird sometimes.

Nice job out there and as hot as it was, I just had to stop by the lake on the way back from lunch just to look around. I saw your truck
but not see you at first and then saw you when I was going to drive out. It was fun chatting with you and glad you found some topwater
bass. That little Gunfish looked pretty deadly coming across the water. There was a nice breeze over the water which was nice, but
just the distance walking back to my truck and getting in it, the heat really hit me. Thanks for sharing and glad you didn't melt.
Tight lines always. :-)
