On the lake by 6 and off again by 10'30 because it got hot!

I launched at North Point and headed Southwest. Caught a couple on topwaters but there really weren't too many busting that way. I picked up a couple more swimming a small jig with a Keitech fat impact for a trailer.

After I kicked back to the point I went around the horn and headed north for about 100 yards. I pinged a lot more fish as I headed further into Harveys arm, and saw considerably more surface activity too! It just got too hot to stay. Oh well, maybe next time

I know it is always a few degrees cooler in Chula Vista at Otay, but takes a man of dedicationI to be fishing in
this heat and my hats off to you. Being on the water for a few hours and catching some bass had to be fun
and was a heck of a lot better than my day. The only thing fishing related was ordering a few things from
Tackle Warehouse and going into the garage to organize for tackle that lasted only a few minutes as
my garage heated up like an oven...ha ha. Anyway, Thanks for sharing your adventure with us and
tight lines always buddy. :-)

Just out of curiosity, was it crowded out there in this type of heat?

Actually there were a couple dozen boats out. Probably a dozen kayaks, and 3 or 4 other float tubers besides us.
