Well, you probably already guessed.... as it is no surprise that I fished Lake Murray this morning. It is just so close to my house and
heck...why not! Started pretty slow as I searched all over for balls of shad in deeper water in between tossing topwater baits towards
some breakers but no hook sets. Pretty sure you heard this story before as I stuck to my guns and threw all reaction baits this morning
and did not toss any worms etc. Maybe I am stubborn as I just like the challenge of trying to get bass out away from the shore, even
though I know there are bass in closer that could gobble up a nice roboworm or senko if I tossed them one.
Anyway...to keep it short, I had 3 bass shake loose but ended up landing 9 bass and a bluegill this morning.
Most of the bass were small, but still had fun especially since I landed them on a variety of baits.
Just a few pics....

I’ll take 9 bass on a San Diego lake any day. Nice angling.

That’s because of the “special saliva coating” you put on those roboworms when you bite the heads off. It sure seems to be a great fish attractant for catching small fish and the big fish that you catch. :-)

Garlic, specifically the chemical compound allicin inside garlic, is a powerful antibiotic. Some European beliefs around vampires stated
they were created by a disease of the blood, so a powerful antibiotic would “kill” a vampire. So glad it helps you catch fish, but keep
it away from me. :-)

Yes, the ramp was good on Wednesday and I actually fished out of my boat on my last two trips there and it was fine.
