Otay gets it's revenge 7/31

I got on the water before sunrise with the excitement of the previous Wednesday still fresh in my veins. It was a foggy morning with nary a buster in sight. Never the less I was able to get 1 nice one to rise on my topwater Gunfish early. I stayed committed to topwater for an hour and a half but only picked up a couple more clones before moving to T-rigged trick worms.
The busters never really got going till 11 or so and even then it was only a 30 minute flurry.
I ended up with about a dozen fish, mostly clones with 4 in the 3 lb. range and a couple nice topwater fish. At least there was enough action that I didn't have to throw another perfectly good pair of jockey shorts at them to get a bite.
