Was watching a few videos on YouTube and the amount of different predatory game fish northeast was crazy to me. It got me thinking, are there any different species than the good ol largemouth here? Definitely want to try targeting some smallies.

Not sure what qualifies as "game fish" to you but you can target Stripers, smallies, Bluegill, Green sunfish, crappie, carp, catfish and trout but some can be quite the drive from SD. Not too many fish around here are as fun to catch as a LMB, unless you go to the salt.

Just saw some decent smallies out of Big Bear. I believe there are stripers in Silverwood.

Stripers are also in Skinner.
