Fished shallow just below the bridge from 6:30 til 10 and picked up 16 on the minnow pinned on a 3/16oz ball jig. 15 feisty spotties and one baby butt. Tons of short bites so not sure they were totally on the chew. The breeze came on just as forecasted about 10am.

Sometimes I wonder if launching my boat at Glorietta and trying to find parking is worse than launching at Shelter Island and motoring all the way up to the bridge. I hate going over or getting stuck on that bridge towing my boat with traffic. What are your thoughts.

The bridge traffics isn’t bad on the weekend and if you go early enough. Another option is the boat launch at Pepper Park, it might be a bit closer to the bridge than Shelter Island.

We usually launch at the Natty City/Pepper ramp when fishing the bridge area. I drive from the north and Glorietta would be great but parking is always a big ? We do Shelter if headed towards the kelps at the point for calicos or spots closer to the mouth.
