East county tackle and bait
Is there any places in east county that has bait and tackle without a homeless presents , it's to the point I'm going to pet shops. I buy most everything online expect bait . There sleeping and drinking on the sidewalks. Looking into your vehicle to steal something.
Just horrible.
Just horrible.

in east county, right down the road from ECBT, theres Anglers Arsenal on Woodside Ave....
Its same building as what use to be Lakeside Bait & Tackle....
Selection isnt as big as ecbt, they do have custom hand poured plastics,
Also from my experience Anglers Arsenal is also cheaper than ecbt.
ECBT thinks its ok to charge a premium for convenience compared to what everyone else charges for the same products....
Then theres Turners in El Cajon
Hook'd Tackle in Santee
Sportsman Warehouse in Santee, not a fan. Atleast when I checked them out they really didnt have tackle specific to what works in our local waters....
The homeless deal is hit & miss, the 7/11 is what attracts them, lock your car, you will be fine.....
you mention bait, specifically what? As dont think any shop I mentioned has shiners or crawdads, but im not a live bait local inland fisherman...

Walmart always carried live worms in the past. No shiners or craws.

Not exactly in East County but Lemon Grove Bait n Tackle (formerly Barnacle Bill’s) sells live bait. They are owned by ECBT and I’ve never seen a homeless person there.

If you around point loma hit dicks sporting good . Point loma and oceanside are the only locations that carry tackle also you can download a coupon if you spend over 100$ you get 20$ off and they price match tackle warehouse prices and other websites as long as its not on sale and in stock

I forgot about lemon grove bait and tackle. I see why they don’t advertise it the same way they do ECBT. I wouldn’t wear a hat that had a big “LGBT” on the front either.

I got a laugh the moment I figured out what their name would abbreviate to.
