Aaaaaand... MURRAY 7/26

Got on the water a little after 5:00 am and landed 6 really nice topwater fish within the first 45 minutes. At that point I was thinking WhooHoo! Otay all over again. Then the sun came up and the bite turned off like someone flipped a proverbial switch.
I proceeded to basically circumnavigate the lake and threw everything in my tackle box at them. Then I threw the tackle box itself, my hat, my underwear, and all I could manage was a handful of 8 inch dinks (probably on the jockey shorts).
Anyway, the water is now a third of the way up the ramp. It's high enough to easily launch float tubes and kayaks, but boats will need a few more feet before they can get out.
Now to watch the Olympics!
Tight lines all!
