Hi all. I've enjoyed reading your posts as I get back into the sport ahead of retirement (and a nostalgic fishing trip to Ontario, Canada next month).

I'm really chomping at the bit to get out on the water as I live right on Lake Miramar. I was hoping that the concessions would open up and boat rental would be available this month, but as of yet this hasn't happened.

If anyone is interested in having some (rusty) company some morning and has an open seat, I'd happily take care of launch fees / fishing permit. I just want to get updated on best practices and try out some of my new tackle before heading back east to our family fish camp cottage that I used to go every summer for like 15 years.

I can do weekdays, as early as you want.

Apologies if this is not a thing, just thought I'd ask.

Hey Mike, Contrats on Retirement. I am right down the FWY from Miramar and I can take you out for a quick trip. Currently dealing with Covid 19 now so, it will be at least a week or so before getting back out on the water.

I'll be heading out this weekend and will be traveling for most of the month of August (including the fishing trip), so will probably miss you this time around. Hoping to be able to share some fish stories from the Rideau when I get back.
