Checkers Time!

Fair to excellent Calico fishing the last 3-4 weeks. Even with the red tide at times, we could find fish in patches of clearer water, but the catching has been better since the water cleared.
Flies, jigs, spinnerbaits all about equally effective. I have only been using flies. Best catching occurs before the marine layer retreats.
Lots of shorts but a few keepers and at least one up to 5lbs
