Why deleted this post, nobody attacked you here. I said it before, no hating from me and I found your post very informative sometime as long as you don’t go into other ppl threads and start pushing your creative into everyone face without them asking.
You can start your own thread and that might help other forum members. Just think like you have your own blog unless you really want to find more supportive by going into other posting.

This one was up for a while. Same theme in all the other posts since the beginning.

I’m serious if the guy wanna discuss over tip and techniques, like crappie always look up or bottom eater, what depth and lure profile, how to get them out of cover when they are not aggressive, double jig rig, float rig, lifted bite, etc..I’ll be happy to be part of it. Too bad he is only try to make the world to know of his creation too much. For me crappie fishing, the shape, size or color only matter when it does. Location and lure movement is way more important.
They guy really have good idea on how to keep plastic on jig head longer. I even tried to make the same jig head once but end up with different way (my plastic can last up to 20-30 crappie easily)

I agree. He does have some good tips like melting plastic together and yeah, the wire keeper. But then it turns to his way or the highway and he begins insulting people who fish certain techniques that don’t line up with his. It must be insecurity… He is definitely passionate about his beliefs…if he approached his post’s with a more opinion based and welcoming way, or answered a question someone had without forcing “facts” it would be a night and day response.
In my experience, certain techniques don’t replicate success to other areas of the continent. Especially from Sd to the east. A lot also do. Oh well.
I believe he should have used his own advise in the heading of this topic, instead, he gave up without trying all options.

I’m kind of understanding him, though. Once you diy your own plastic and it works, you want to show of to all your friends, meaning forum members for him. It was sound interesting at first, even I did it too at some point (mostly cut and trim not melt together). I came to realize KISS method , just a few dollars a pack of baby shad can last me awhile and I don’t have to think, sit down and smell all of those melting plastic.
Infact just order about 10 bags of crappie plastic mostly something new like all Z-man products. This will be use for next season.

100% one of the og plastic pourers down here I heard got a deadly form of cancer and they linked it to pouring. He had a shop in El Cajon Blvd in El Cajon waaaaay back in the day. I don’t even remember the name…it was so long ago. Late 80’s early 90’s.
The fumes from melting plastics could actually be what’s happening here?!…
