Sent Messages stuck in Outbox

Can someone help with this? I tried two different DMs to different people and my sent messages stay in Outbox and don’t appear to send.

I could be wrong, but I think the message stays in the outbox until the other person actually opens it.
It might just mean that your messages were sent but the recipient hasn’t opened them yet. Maybe they just haven’t checked their inbox yet?

That's correct. Messages will stay in Outbox until the recipient opens them.
