Fly Rod/Reel/Line

Post by Ol Dirty Basser »

Cortland Fairplay rod, 8', 5/6 weight, 4 pieces. Shakespeare Agility reel, Rio Mainstream WF-6-F line. Comes with rod tube.

I only used this on one trip to the Sierras, probably fished 3 times during that one trip. Not a high-end setup, but a good if you want to get into the game for cheap or as a loaner. I didn't like the fake cork grip, so I covered it with heat shrink tubing. You could probably cut it off if you wanted to.

$50. I spent about $30 on the line alone.
