Kayak at Barrett

Just picked up a used yak for Barrett later this month. Do you have to have the mussel sticker for kayaks? Never owned one before.

I believe if you have a trolling motor on it, you are supposed to have it registered in CA which then you would have all the stickers. If you are pedal or paddle propelled, no registration or stickers needed
