Line Size/Water Clarity?

Fishing from the yak Saturday. Was going to bring a bay rod that's already spooled up with fresh 15# fluoro (straight). Is that too heavy for Barrett? I think I typically throw 10 there. Don't really want to re-spool but also don't want to miss bites due to finicky fish.

I use nothing but 17 pound Flourocarbon leader tied to 30 Braid at most of the Lakes I fish, Barrett included. I find it works really well pulling big Bass out of heavy cover in the morning and Deep Bass off the rocks in the afternoon all Spring. Iโ€™m definitely not hurting in the numbers game. Donโ€™t get me wrong, I have nothing against 6 pound and 1/16oz. Lure mid Summer, mainly pulling Bass off the outside of live trees and deep rocks.
