Fish finder
Good morning! Curious to know what fish finders are being run on kayaks? I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on one but there is so many options. Thanks in advance! Have a good one.

Re: Fish finder
On my first PA12, I used a Lowrance Hook2 5" finder and then later went to a Lowrance Hook2 7" finder, which carried over to my
current PA12. The finder did its job and the bigger screen was nice. I fish a lot out of my kayak and last year took the next
step and upgraded to a Lowrance Elite FS with a 9" screen. It was not cheap, but it is a great finder and I am very happy with it.
There are many brands of quality finders out there that do the trick, as many will probably respond, but for me, I have had no
problems sticking with Lowrance in my kayaks(and boats). There was an earlier post last year about finders and kayaks if this helps also:

Re: Fish finder
I guess my question is since we have the luxury of fishing both salt and fresh, is there a fish finder that would work good for freshwater bass fishing, as well as peddling out in the ocean and have one finder that’s good in both worlds?
