Sometimes to old stuff looks goofy to our modern eyes but the fish dont think like humans. They swim ok, if you go slow and shallow.

I still have 4 or 5 of the silver/black and a couple gold broke backs!

I got those in a tackle box someone gave me( from Oregon). It has lots of interesting lures. Lots of broke back cranks. I didnt throw any yesterday, I was mostly "going big". I caught a surprising number of nice fish on the larger lures.

Lost some nices ones in bushes too. On the jig, brush hog, and 6" hollowbdy. At least i got to see them. Stupid bushes.

I made a giant double colorado spinnerbait. Bluegill colored with green blades and whacked a nice 3lber when it was just getting light.
