Fishing Buddy Dan flew over yesterday on his way to Florida. Looks nice and full. The city website said 88% as of a week ago.

Hey Chuck…Heard you hit Baccarac recently. Sounded very fun. You are setting the stage for an epic 2024!!

Yes Bacarrac was fun! Dave got his PB and we're already thinking about next year, anyone interested just pm me and i'll give you the details.
Barrett will be awesome again.

That is so tempting! Before I’m done I want to hit Baccarac, El Salto, or Guerrero at least once.

We had a great time at Baccarac and it's true, my best fish was caught on a popper. Love those things. Chuck caught some big fish on the popper, but got the fish of the trip on a crankbait. He only had one of this squarebill, so everytime he'd get hung up, it was kind of stressful to get it back. You should bronze that lure for a trophy if we get a group to go next year.

I do think Barrett is going to be amazing this year.

Maybe a silly question when looking at this photo of a full and inviting Barrett Lake, but does anyone know what that small body of water is in the top center of the pic?

On another post, recently ( that's why I know and more importantly remember ) they are on private property and well protected I believe.

Gotcha. Guess I’ll need to suffer through Barrett then. :)

Yes, besides two heavily fortified gates there are real-time game cameras all the way up to that ranch and throughout the ranch. Don’t even try.
