Are we going to see a run on buzz baits in the tackle stores now?

I’ve caught a lot more Catfish on White Spinnerbaits, Zara Spooks, Big Swimbaits. Never caught one on a Buzzbait. I have caught a Dorado on a Buzzbait but it ruined it.

Guys who actually throw buzzbaits regularly already have the ones they like

. On the other hand, I’d like to know the buzzbait that was used in this case. I’m amazed that it held together thru the fight on a fish like this

Nice!
Glad I didn't hook that on my BFS gear.

Great point Dannicus. I grew up catching Bonito with my Dad. We used 2 and 4 pound test. My Pops had a line class record 16 pound Halibut on 2 pound in 1964. This time of year I fish 30 braid and 17 pound Flourocarbon leader. Just lost to many big fish. Now I land almost all of them. It is one thing to hook a big Bass or Cat. It is entirely another to land them. Big fish are a different breed. I truly have landed over 100 Bass over 10 on 15/17 pound test. One on 6 pound. That’s why I fish heavy. Later on in the Summer when the Bass are deep and out away from heavy cover, I bring out the lighter gear. I’m having a blast either way!
