I’m really bummed I have to go back to work next Monday. The last two have been really good to me at San V. Last week I got the 7lber and today I boated 27 (no BS, I have pics of most of them).

The bite started almost right away this morning. Messed around with a chatterbait for about a dozen casts or so and then picked up the dropshot. 1st cast, fish. Next cast, fish, two casts later, fish. You get the picture. I had 13 fish by 8:30 and 21 by 11:00. Decided to bounce around and try some new water, picked up one here and there but never got on anything close to the morning bite. Boated 27 and lost 8 or 9. Got bit on just about everything I threw. Roboworm, Fluttercraft, Zman dropshot bait, shake head with a baby Brush Hog, and the good ol Senko. Got multiples on all of those baits. Best 5 went 15.98

One more weekday trip to the V on Thu and then I will be going through withdrawals for a while. Going to take advantage this week as much as I can and going to give El Cap a go tomorrow.

This is exactly what time on the water gets you! I haven't seen anyone grind the way you do, no matter the weather.
