San V Leap Day, steady but slow

I realize that may sound like a contradiction but it pretty much describes my day. Fishing was actually better on Monday, at least for me. I ended up with a Bakers Dozen but there was no size to them and I struggled for bites.
I would get a fish or two off a spot and it would die. I ended up making a milk run of about 5 spots. Almost all of my bites came almost as soon as the bait hit the bottom on a long cast. I think I got 3 or 4 bites while actually working my bait. The rest I would lift up and they would already have the bait. Got me one little humpbacked guy as well.
VinnyBass, I tried like hell to get a bite on the damn Tokyo Rig but to no avail
I won’t give up on it though, I do like how it fishes when flipped into the bushes.
