San V 2/22 Better size today

Lots of boats out today, probably tomorrow as well, pre fishing for the Angler's Marine tournament on Saturday. Got there earlier than usual today and ended up at the end of the second line of boats. Haven’t seen more than 5 or 6 boats in line the last few weeks.
Being that far back, I was shocked when I got to my area and was actually able to start on the spot I wanted to start on. Had a limit for just over 13lbs by 7:30. Most fish came on Senkos and one on a Chatterbait. Had 7 fish by 9:30 and then the algae bloom kicked in big time and the wind picked up. Picked off a couple of fish here and there but it was pretty slow until about 2. The bite always seems to pick up again right around 2 for some reason. Got 6 more between 2:00-4:00.
Ended with 15 total, best 5 went 14.68lbs. Really wanted to break 15lbs but just couldn’t cull my two smaller ones. Great day overall!
