Re: Hodges opener?
I went in the afternoon on Del dios side, bank fishing. Very slow for me. Not a bite. Fished 4 hours. Cranks, spinnerbait, and jig. Even fished the jig ultra slow. I know one guy on a tube got 3. And this one guy on the bank got 5 on senkos and ikas.

Re: Hodges opener?
Hey all I headed to the opener on Wednesday and to begin with it was mostly crappie guys. I ended up getting 2 bass. The first was on a Rapala DT 10 craw colored. The second I was just trolling back to the launch with a big 20+ old shad colored crank (I don't honestly remember what brand) and got one that way. Both fish were super healthy and almost white. Both between 2-3lbs. I saw a couple guys get them dragging craws and worms slow on the bottom. It was super slow for most people, but it is still February. The water near the launch was the the color and texture of milk chocolate mixed with French onion soup. Clearer for sure closer to the dam. I was only out there for a few hours and then headed to work. I am still debating whether to make a video from it. I'll be out there for longer Sunday for sure and will definitely make a video from that and post a report.
