San V 1-22 my bilge pump works!

Headed out onto a very rainy lake this morning with two other boaters who were crazy enough to head out into the rain. I should probably be living in the Pacific Northwest because I LOVE the rain and especially fishing in it! My bilge pump kicked on about every 15min or so pumping out a few gallons of water each time!
My face took a beating on my first run out this morning from the rain drops smacking the crap out of me but all was good once I got to my area. Started throwing a blade and a crank looking for a reaction bite. Hung one on the crank but it got me in a bush and popped off. After about 30min with nothing else, out came the dropshot rods. Got a little 8” guy on the first cast. Slowly worked my way out the 50’ area. Lots of fish still deep but they didn’t want to play today. Moved back shallower to 25-30ft and started fan casting the area. Got 5 during the heavy rain until about 10:30. Things slowed when the rain did but picked up a little later again.
Ended the day with 9 landed and 5 break offs in the bushes. All on the dropshot. Biggest was 2.6
Only one other guy left in the lot with me when I pulled out at 4pm
