Fish ID?

Caught this porker at Lake Jennings on Sunday. Has the dot on the gill plates like a bluegill, but longer body than I’ve seen on one, almost some Crappie-like features. Hybrid maybe, if that’s even possible? He was dead on 10”, at least by my chinesium plastic tackle box ruler.
