I know the Padres didn't live up to expectations, but there is some other baseball being played... Starting today with the wildcard rounds.. Who's picking who, and not giving a chance to other whos??? Of course, I hoping for a Dodger championship, but I know a lot of you San Diego fans are hoping for a fail... Give me some baseball chatter.... Lets hear it...

It was tough following the Padres this season as I always hoped they would snap out of it and just never did. The winning streak
near the end of the season was fun and exciting as they were playing good baseball. Hitting in the clutch, pitching was good...but
it was a little too late. During the season we watched almost ever game on TV as it became a ritual(even though there were times
after some crazy losses, that I said I am not going to watch them anymore, just was too stressful watching them blow leads, not
get hits with runners on, and those extra inning losses etc etc....but of course I still did watch ). The baseball season is over for me.
I was born in San Diego, but most of my relatives are back in Philly and .......and even though I am not a Dodger fan....I would
be ok with a Dodger championship because after all......they are a team from California.

Well said Vinny... And since you were named after the greatest baseball announcer that ever lived, I accept you as an honorary Dodger fan .... Come on and 'Root, root, root for the home team"...The CA Dodgers... ..

Sounds like a plan. The Dodgers will hopefully win another World Series for Butch and California!
But as soon as the next baseball season starts....I'm back with the Padres.

Whoa.. My Dodgers and Kershaw looked really bad.. I feel sorry for Kershaw, as he looks to be a class guy, and a really great regular season pitcher... You know it's all in his head, and it'll haunt him for the rest of his life...

My father used to tell me after a tough loss…” it’s only one game son.” Somehow that made me feel a little better, but I still was bummed for a while. Hopefully they will bounce back next game and he will too.

For some reason the Tommy Lasorda meltdown about Kurt Bevacqua was on my instagram. I can listen to that a 100 times and it still makes me laugh.
That was the good old days of baseball.

Of course I had to watch that tirade again since I barely remember it and wow did Lasorda go off. Pretty wild stuff and did get some good laughs at some of the comments in between the profanities.

Haven't heard that in years ... Loved the Ol Coot... He certainly bled Dodger Blue... ...

Well crap!!!... Sitting home again... This is getting old... One of the best regular season teams, year-in and year-out, but get squashed in the playoffs... Oh well, I can always look forward to another great regular season next year. ....
