Ok , so computer illiterate here . What do I need to do to place a photo as my Avatar . Seems like all my choices are too big a file . Thanks in advance for the tutelage . WR
Avatar sizes are limited to 300x300 pixels.
If your picture is too large you can use one of these free online tools to make it smaller:

You can also use one of the avatars available in the gallery.
