Believe 17 days prior to the April 3rd drawing is March 17th?

Good luck to all!

Don’t give up yet. I just checked and the SHARE website says 4/3 application is still pending.

For those of you in the know, is it true that you are "assigned" a fishing area? So you really don't get to fish around the lake?

Yes thats the case early on at least. Not sure they hold you to that after say, noon. But the areas are pretty general…Main Lake, Pine, and Hauser.

Yes, this is true. First and foremost, it is a data collection trip. Areas are assigned in the morning so they are sure too cover the whole lake to get the data.

50-60 fish each day for me. Buzzbait, spinnerbait, chatterbait, jig, wobblehead w/ flappin hog, underspin & brass n' glass zipper grub all worked. 90% of the fish were 10-13" in moderate health, anything over 14" was not healthy. Too many bass in the lake.

What area did you fish? Any shad spotted?

And yes, the lake seriously needs a harvest of some sort. The good intentions of catch and release have proven repercussions.
