Nice Vinny!

JIMBO… self proclaimed, was the best big bass fisherman to ever fish Lake Murray. Although all the times he said he was there fishing and I was there fishing the same day, sadly I never met him. Never knew anyone else that met him and I know a lot of people that fished Lake Murray back then. Nobody at the concession stand ever saw all these big bass or heard anything about all the huge bass be was catching…..but why would he lie?
Thanks Moose

I just rather be honest about the weight of a bass no matter what the pic looks like, then to BS that a bass is bigger than it is.KillinTime wrote: Fri Aug 22, 2025 5:27 pm Nice Bucket Mouth! Looks bigger than 7 in the pics. WTG!!
Heck, a few years ago I caught a 9 1/2lb bass. at Sutherland and the pic looked like it went 11, but I posted the correctweight even though I wanted it to be a double digit. I guess I am just weird about things like that or the way I was brought up. I know there may be a few guys out there(especially on the old site) that might stretch the truth on the weight of a bass and even hold the bass closer to the camera trying to make it look bigger and actually saying it was bigger than it was......but that is something that I have no control over.
Sorry to ramble on so much.
Anyway…Tight lines to ya.![]()

By the way, that's a nice Sutherland fish. What did you get that on on?
I used to just fish shallow water mostly flippin the tulles and working the edges until they lowered the water too much a
