I will be driving over to Lake Havasu on Sunday, camping at Cattail Cove, and fishing off my Waverunner on Monday. I have never fished Lake Havasu, nor have I ever caught a striper. Any suggestions regarding tackle, techniques, and fishing spots would be greatly appreciated. If the stripers are not biting, I will be happy to catch largemouth bass.
Thanks,
Paul

When all else fails, you can bobber fish with chunks of mackerel.

It sounds like mackerel or anchovies are the way to go. Do you know the minimum size for keeping stripers at Lake Havasu?
Thank you,
Paul

A-Rig will work - just keep in mind that AZ only allows the use of 2 hooks.
Chatterbaits worked well for me too. Could also try Free-lining some shrimp

Re: Lake Havasu Striped Bass Info Request
Stripers move so quickly at Havasu, that trying to pinpoint them can be difficult.
I see people have success off the public pier at Site 6, using cut anchovies. If you can get live shad, that would work too.
I've seen them busting along the shore at Site 6 as well, but that is really hit and miss.
Good luck out there! I'd focus on the smallmouth and largemouth as they are probably in post spawn mode and eating to recover.

Re: Lake Havasu Striped Bass Info Request
We camped at cattail Cove, which is a great campground. Fishing was pretty tough. Tried fishing with frozen anchovies, but the only striper we caught bit a 3.5 inch Shad Rap in the shad color.
