Lake schedules for tubers

Float tubes are a convenient and affordable way to get on the water, and finally get to those fish that you can't reach from shore. Discuss float tubes, outfitting float tubes for fishing, and float tube fishing.

They should be open for tubing on all days that they allow fishing. I can't think of any examples of that not being true.

Below is the San Diego City Lakes Schedule to use mostly as a reference.
I posted this because it is not fun to drive all the way to a lake and find out it is closed that day.
Lake Barrett is closed right now but will be opening in May(not sure of the date)
Just a reminder that Lake Miramar is closed to all watercraft but you can fish from shore there. If anyone
knows anything or has any updates please feel free to add.

That’s the days the lakes are closed on normally open days btw. Which is super helpful. Just google each lake and look at the city website to see what days are open/closed

Just to add which is pretty sad:
Float tubers cannot fish Lake Poway, Lake Dixon or Lake Jennings.
I remember when you could fish lake Poway back in the 80's I believe.
Anyway....tight lines guys

Looks like San V is open Thurs-Mon, and Cap is open Fri-Tues. Hours vary by season.
