Spanish landing
First time posting here. Fished Spanish Landing Monday and Wednesday nights. Big school of corvina on Monday, a lot of spotties and one barred sand bass on Wednesday. Fast action from about 8 to 10:15 pm. Success came on kalins solid black 5 inch lunker grubs on 3/8th oz Walmart lead heads for both the bass and the corvina. Everything released.

Re: Spanish landing
Sounds like some nice nights. Nice corvina, it's been too long since I've gotten one.

Re: Spanish landing
There is none. I tried for almost two years petitioning the dfw/dfg to get one, but the assholes in Sacramento could care less. If your gonna keep one make sure it croaks. The females don't make any noise. This year has sucked for them though, really not too many around so keep that in mind before you take one . I've only caught a dozen so far, last year I had about 60 by this time.

Thanks, Roncador! I posted again before I saw your response. They sure are beautiful fish! Thanks for the tip. Don't want to kill any mommas.
