Hi Everyone - Planning to go out tomorrow with @Shawnster and try our luck at some bass and/or trout. Wondering if anyone has recommendations for somewhere within an hour of SD and offers boat rentals? We were originally planning lake jennings but fear it might be crowded with the trout restocking happening this weekend. Looking over recent posts / catches we thought maybe San Vincente or Otay? We might be trying out some new BFS gear too if that at all plays into the recommendation. Any advice / thoughts / recommendations are much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Like, if you were desperate to catch a freshwater fish — any fish — but you despise the crowds and vibe of fishing for stunned freshly stocked fish, where would you go this time of year? Been on a bit of a dry spell recently! My boys did catch these guys at Lake Jennings last weekend though. We’re hoping to show them up!
