I watched my friend catch this unlikely suspect last week. A quick photo, then released.

Very nice, from the surf, 22" or so ? Am I reading your scale correctly ?

Yes from the surf. About 25”. Ruler max is 24” and it was longer.

Whoa ! That's a beast, I know because I got a 22"+ model this summer & was all I could handle to get it in on light gear. Congrats on a great catch !
