Curious Michael, did they say you would get a refund from Ticketmaster if you had a Sunday ticket? We were talking about this very thing this morning.otaymichael wrote: Sat Aug 19, 2023 10:10 am According to Barrett Lake staff just now, San Diego lakes will be closed Sun. and Mon.

That's too bad. One of the best day of bass fishing was the day of Hurricane Nora left overs hit SD County in Oct of 1997. I was fishing Palo Verde Lake in Alpine. Winds were up a bit and the fish were jumping in the boat. 33 fish over 3 lbs with an 8.2 kicker (also a 12 lb cat on the blades). Most if in all on a Hildebrandt Double Willow Blade. Crazy low pressure systems can really put the fish on the chew.

As far as I can tell, as of 5 pm on Sunday, the storm is a bit of a bust! What's new for our predicted rain storms, huh?

A lot of variability in rainfall from location to location as expected. For instance Montgomery Field recorded nearly 50% more rain than MCAS Miramar. At the NWS RAWS station nearest my house, rain since 0300 this morning is 1.86" which is a bit higher than the 1"-1.5" range of the last prediction this morning and and within the 1"-2" prediction as it was last night. And it's still raining - more than an inch in the last two hours.otaymichael wrote: Sun Aug 20, 2023 4:48 pm As far as I can tell, as of 5 pm on Sunday, the storm is a bit of a bust! When I pour (pun intended) through the RAWS data from NWS most stations have recorded rainfall within the range predicted for their area. Some are a bit under and some a bit over.
I would have gone to Lake Murray this morning if it hadn't been closed. Weather was tolerable before 1000.
