Lake Ramona Parking

I was wondering if anyone had tried to park at the back of Lake Ramona lately (Green Valley Truck Trail)? Is it ok to park back there or is it off limits? I used to park back there years ago but they were starting to crack down on it.

Gated, fenced, big no no! Blue Sky is the only legal park and hike.

That’s a long trek that way. I used to ride my little XR80 up that way until I found out about parking in the back. That’s what I was doing until they started cracking down. I guess I was hoping to hear they eased up but sounds like it got worse. Love that place. First time there I caught a 9lbr sight fishing, and about 20 dinks. I fell in love with that place for about six months (about as long as most of my relationships) Some of the clearest water in all of San Diego. If anyone has a recent report I’d love to hear about it.
