Barrett 9-16
Fished a half day with my buddy via boat. Got to our starting zone in the dark and waiting for first light. We started to pick away at a few on the popper and small walking bait then proceeded to catch them on small jigs and the free rig. As soon as the sun got a bit higher they started pushing bait up on the shoreline and in the grass edges so the fluke produced quite well. We worked from rock pile to rock pile and continued to pick away at fish on both the jig and freerig. Water was warm and the cloud cover made for a fairly comfortable morning of fishing. We ended with probably 30-40 fish between the 2 of us

Nice!
Yup the cloud covers definitely help with the bite especially for any top water action!
