9/9 report

Finally got back to the Big B on Wednesday. I thought it was going to be a scorcher, but thanks to the cloud cover the weather was perfect. NO wind and pretty glassy conditions until I call it quits around 3 pm. Started working my way back into Pine picking up fish every where I stopped to fish. Rocks are still the key. You seen them breaking on the bank....thro there and get one. My bigger fish were caught off the weedline in 10 to 25 feet. Watch your line! Patience. Ended with 16 lmb....biggest 4 ish, with a 6 lb mouth. All nice fish with only 2 slightly above the dink status. Occasional breakers but to hard to chase in a tube and I think they were on the smaller side? 3 and 5 inch curley tailed grubs with pegged bullet weights of 1/16 and 1/8 oz, 6 lb test.....fun. I heard there has been some amazing shad schools throughout the lake with the bass on feeding frenzies. Only 6 cars at Pig's when I launched, u can back down to the waters edge. Stunning day.
