Bass at Jennings

Late post, I tried to post last week when I was able to fish Jennings with my buddy he really like the lake and I do as well, I’ve tried to get him to mix it up and try another lake but he’s stubborn he doesn’t like some of the other lakes because of launch or to many boats with skiers or whatever, I been trying to get him to go to Lake Murray with no success.
At Jennings our last few times we haven’t gotten the SKUNK so last week we were able to boat 2 each maybe 2+1/2 lbers it’s been that way for the last couple months, with mix of lures.
No reason to post pictures since as I’m getting older and the brain not working as well as it used too, I’m trying to post so that next time I can post earlier so that it can help any other fishermen I know a late post doesn’t really help.

So one of the things I have noticed is we usually tie up to a branch on shore and keep seeing fish swimming a couple of feet from shore they swim by our boat and then minutes later they swim by again we’ve seen a lot of the 3lbers but several times have seen 6lb+ swimming by also, this past week one of the fish stopped turned and stared at me for 20 seconds or more, turned and went on his way then he did it again, has that happened to any of you it was a first for me?
I’ve noticed lately there haven’t been many posts besides Barrett, what’s up?

The bass squads that cruise by are normally looking to ambush bluegill, baby bass or the occasional crawdad that pops up out of its hole. It works good to cast a worm parallel to the bank if you're in a boat tied up shallow especially when there are small rocks/rubble and not a lot of weeds-growth

Nice job out there Vito and nice job on the post. That water is so clear that the bass spook easily out there at Jennings.
Making longer casts helps and I always fished a lot like @professionull has mentioned with making casts parallel to the shore line. I have also done well throwing plastic worms out in deeper water(drop shot worms and senkos).
