Lake Perris 5/22
Did a Camp trip with my Son and Granddaughter. I paid for our Campsite, my Son arrived later and paid for the same Campsite. Error! I immediately brought them the receipts and was met with a Crew that had no idea what to do. One Employee had to overwrite the system to allow him to repay in the first place . “Sorry, there is nothing we can do”. I told them I paid cash and I’m not leaving without it. So they called the Cops! I explained what happened but the Sheriff told me to “Just let it go” or I would be arrested for disturbing the Peace. I had never spoke above a conversational level. Anyway, not happy about that. I hit the Lake for a slow start in my Tube. I finally got a hard “Tap” and set the hook on a nice 3+ Pound Bass and immediately got cussed out by a shore Angler for fishing his water. He was 100 feet away, never saw him until I heard him. So I caught 4 more right in front of him. I rounded the Point on the North side of the Launch cove and caught 4 more in four casts, all nice thick healthy Bass out of 17-22 feet of water on a 1/8 oz Jighead and a ZMan Thick Trik in Redbone. Every Bass wolfed it down. I continued into Marina Cove for two more nice Bass and a dinky one that jumped over and over, like he was a crazy Bass. Then he got swirled on, there was an absolute Giant underneath him in the crystal clear water. He was all lit up and ready to munch my little Bass. I pulled him to safety but there he was was right there staring at me. I unhooked the Bass and tossed in my Jig first and he followed it down but no bite, then I tossed the little Bass about 10 feet away. I hope he made it. I ended up with 12 Bass, we lost $40 to a Park scam, and I got cussed out by a guy I never even got a good look at as he was buried in some shoreline trees. Another day on the Lake.

Re: Lake Perris 5/22
Sucks about the payment screwup… But it was a good fishing expedition and being with your Son and Granddaughter should take some of the pain away…
