5/9 report

Post by Quentincitrano »

Hey yall a little late with this but here is a report from 5/9. I was on the water early at probably 515ish on kayak hit up the first point to the left of pigs and picked up a few. then wen to the middle of huaser and continued to get them on both sides I got 33 total mostly on the worm 4 on the free rig including my biggest which was around 4.5 and 1 on a poper. there were some puddling fish near the dock in the mid day and if you landed anything near them you were bit. lots of snot which made the lake harder to fish some intest on a berkley nessie. My biggest problem was with the health of the fish my 4.5 could have been a 7 if it was not deathly skinny and I had multiple 2.5 that shoild have been closer to 4 lits of iver fish in bad shape and over all a slow dissapointig opening weekend. PS if you show up late to the line dont cut people off to get in go turn around makes things go fatser.

I hear you on the skinny fish. I caught some at the Cast Hope even that were the same--3-4lb fish that were skeletal and had the frames to be double the weight.
