Pretty quiet at the ole hodgy this morning.. Only 4 cars at the launch ramp before us, and we were late

Shad are moving and grooving pretty good now at grey light, and top water bite is on too.. It shut down by 9am, but put 5 fish on for a half day..

Best fish for the morning on the buzzbait..

Nice job out there! Back in the last century…you could pretty much call it a day at 9am. For us it always seemed to shut down around then.

Glad to see a report from Hodges as it has been pretty quiet this year on reports from there.
