4/24 Cap North
Bright and early headed to the end. It was hard to do as I was cruising back seeing others land a fish. The depth as I headed in was 18' to 19' and getting shallower. I started fishing a rock pile that was good when water was higher. Well it ran out rocks, still caught a few around it. The whole arm is crammed with bait. As searched for more structure the clouds of bait made it tuff. I made back as far I was going to go as it was 4' to 5' and didn't want to go any shallower. You cast and shad fly. I was concerned about all the carp breaching the water. They are big, I had visions of the video of the whale breaching and landing on a boat. I was the only one back there on the water except for the catfish guy and someone who walked all the way back. I fished my way out to the main lake. My biggest fish came from the main lake 4 1/2 and a 3 1/4. 35 total on DS, BBH, Ika and senko. Topwater blow ups, all misses. reaction baits nothing but shad.
BEWARE! There is a island coming out do to lowering water main lake!

Kept getting shad if that counts? A guy said he was getting them on a small jerk bait on another post. Asked him to share but no response!

Re: 4/24 Cap North
Thanks for the report.
In your phot I marked where we were doing very well on the shad spawn one year ago. The shad were spawning on the rocks that my arrow is pointing too. This really show how much the lake has come down. Piss Poor City Management.... How sad

Re: 4/24 Cap North
So many spots I use to fish are out of the water now or to shallow. I have been marking or noting deeper rocks and things, that come into play at some point.

I found it when it was about 18' deep, it is a big area. No structure on it that I found and now you can park on it.
