BFS PB Murray 3/21

Post by Dannicus »

Got a big one today at the Murr. Biggest fish of the year so far for me. It was 8.58 on the scale.

Caught it on my lightest BFS rig and 6 lb. test. Throwing a Texas rigged ned bait with a 1/16 weight and a #1 ewg light wire hook. By the time I got it landed the hook was mangled but still got the job done. I was pretty pumped.

Still waiting for that DD BFS fish, but getting closer!

Today they wouldn't hit anything but small cranks. Got a handful of clones and some pretty large, beautiful bluegills.

Might be a Red Ear. The Panfish...not the Bass.
