4/13 Cap and the storm

Post by Dfishin »

I got to the lake way late, started fishing around 10 and off early. I was the last one on the lake and this is why. around 11:30 rain and wind hit hard. I was back at the bend and I hid from the wind around a point. Forgot my rain coat and my sweat shirt got soaked. It was crazy. My little SS minnow handled it pretty good. I went in going to hit different areas to check it out. I ended with 16, 3 1/2 biggest. Fun and very interesting day.

I caught a couple when hiding from the wind. Then decided I have to go for it.
I had the whole lake to myself no other tubes, kayaks and even the boat left.

If it starts to rain, it is a pain for me because I wear glasses...ha ha. Glad you had fun catching
bass while roughing it in the wind and rain. You are a dedicated fisherman and made it pay off
in those conditions when most are at home. Tight lines always :-)

I was also there on Monday in my tube. Took me a little bit to figure them out but had 10 before I had to kick back in the rain. No reaction bite or worm fish. Everything was on the free rig craw in 10-15’
