Re: SHARE Fishing
For those of you in the know, is it true that you are "assigned" a fishing area? So you really don't get to fish around the lake?

Re: SHARE Fishing
Yes thats the case early on at least. Not sure they hold you to that after say, noon. But the areas are pretty general…Main Lake, Pine, and Hauser.FishON wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2026 6:39 am For those of you in the know, is it true that you are "assigned" a fishing area? Re: SHARE Fishing
Yes, this is true. First and foremost, it is a data collection trip. Areas are assigned in the morning so they are sure too cover the whole lake to get the data.FishON wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2026 6:39 am For those of you in the know, is it true that you are "assigned" a fishing area? Re: SHARE Fishing
50-60 fish each day for me. Buzzbait, spinnerbait, chatterbait, jig, wobblehead w/ flappin hog, underspin & brass n' glass zipper grub all worked. 90% of the fish were 10-13" in moderate health, anything over 14" was not healthy. Too many bass in the lake.

Re: SHARE Fishing
And yes, the lake seriously needs a harvest of some sort. The good intentions of catch and release have proven repercussions.Queue wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 11:19 am 50-60 fish each day for me.
