4/8- Quick A.M. Session- SD River

Post by VinnyBass »

Quick morning session at the SD River before the heat came. After an hour and a half or more or nothing, finally picked up 2 small bass on a small crank bait and then flipped a Googan Craw bait later to pick up this 4 1/2lb bass. Bass immediately wrapped herself around some underwater branches and it took time especially knowing that any second she could come off, but luckily managed to work her out of them and land her.

Shhhhhh...that is a secret.
When I cut off a worm to re-rig, I almost always stick the tungsten weight in my shirt pocket
otherwise I will lose them and those dang things are expensive. :-)

"Not that there is anything wrong with the 2 small bass". (Seinfeld would be proud). :-)
